MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay police have launched a manhunt for three suspects following an incident last night in which a 32-year-old man was killed and five other victims left seriously injured.
One of the five victims has since died, bringing the current death toll to two.
Police spokesperson, Sgt Chris Spies says police responded to the scene at Bantom Street, KwaNonqaba and on their arrival found the body of the deceased at the entrance to the premises. “The other victims were found with several gunshot wounds inside the house. They were all taken to a medical facility where the second person died.”
A preliminary investigation suggests that the victims, six in total, were all inside the house at approximately 20:00 when three armed suspects entered the house and started shooting. Cases of murder and attempted murder were opened for further investigation.
“Investigation into this matter is at a very early stage and the motive for the attack is yet to be determined," said Spies.
