MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Military veterans form MOTH Shellholes are said to share a degree of "unique DNA". This DNA is vested in true comradeship, mutual help and sound memory.
Therefore, to celebrate this, military veterans are gathering in the Garden Route district on 9 October during a special event hosted in George. The event is focused on sincerity and humour and will be celebrated as a colourful traditional potjiekos festival.
Sixteen military units, each with its unique background will be represented.
The event is hosted at the George MOTH Shellhole, Rijk Tulbagh Street from 11:00 onwards. Dish up is at 17:00.
To enjoy a potjiekos meal will cost R70.
Attendees are requested to bring camping chairs, cutlery, friends and family.
Cash bar is available.
