MOSSEL BAY NEWS & VIDEO - Members of the ANC are congregating at the Imekhaya Primary School in KwaNonqaba for a memorial service for struggle stalwart Mxolisi Bobelo.
Bobelo, a past municipal Councillor and activist, passed away on 13 July.
His funeral will be at 10:00 on Saturday morning in the Town Hall.
Bobelo, or 'Bra Bucks' as he was fondly called, was known for his involvement in the anti-apartheid struggle since 1963, and later on in life played an essential role negotiating local government transitional structures.
Actively involved in business forums, he was the founding chairperson of the Mossel Bay Black Business Agenda.
