MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay Fire, Rescue and Disaster Management did not rest on their laurels yesterday, 4 May as International Firefighters’ Day was celebrated. On the contrary, they responded to several incidents during a particularly busy day.
At 09:15 the attended to a motor vehicle accident on the Robinson pass. Just past an hour later they were called to a house fire in Getswana Drive at 10:54.
All emergency services attended a vehicle and motorcycle accident at 11:02 in Marsh Street. Multiple shacks were destroyed in a fire in Marikana at 13:14 following another vehicle accident on the R328 at 13:25.
They were also called out to a veld fire at extension 8 around 20:05 last night. A house fire at 22:09 in Civic park and this morning at 07:35 a skip fire was extinguished.
