MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Furry Friday ribbons are the Garden Route SPCA’s unique way of celebrating International Animal Week, which takes place from 4 to 10 October annually.
These colourful ribbons, sporting cute paw prints, will be on sale from Monday, 11 September until 10 October.
The Garden Route SPCA challenges staff at all Mossel Bay businesses to wear as many ribbons as possible.
Costing only R10, the ribbon symbolises the mission of the SPCA: the prevention of cruelty to and the help of neglected and abused animals.
Mossel Bay businesses, come on, encourage your staff to wear these ribbons.
You can obtain them from the SPCA office or Charity Shop in Bill Jeffrey Ave, KwaNonqaba. Buy a packet of 10 ribbons - in assorted colours this year - for R100 and sell them to your workmates.
Submit photos of you and your staff members proudly wearing your Furry Friday ribbons and the SPCA will post them on its facebook page with your business’ name. Some will end up in the SPCA newsletter too.
Send them to Wendy at the SPCA (publicity@grspca.co.za or 082 351 4669).
