MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay municipality has embarked on a programme to meet with residents over the next two weeks to discuss the municipal draft IDP Review and the draft budget for the 2018/2019 financial year.
The first meetings were conducted this week in KwaNonqaba, Reebok, Boggomsbaai, the Indoor Sport Centre, Dana Bay and at the Imekhaya Primary School.
Next week's meetings will be conducted at 19:00 at the Hartenbos Library and Denneprag Primary School hall on Monday, 16 April; on Tuesday 17 April at the Sonskynvallei Community hall and at the Brandwag community call; on Wednesday, 18 April at the Great Brak River council chamber, Brandwag community hall and at the Lutheran Church hall. On Thursday, 19 April, the meeting at the D'Almeida community hall concludes that week's meetings.
The last of the scheduled meetings take place as of Monday, 23 April, when the first meeting will be at 18:00 in the Joe Slovo community hall, as well as at 19:00 at the Friemersheim community hall.
On Tuesday, 24 April at 19:00 the meeting will be held at the Herbertsdale church hall, and another at 18:00 at the KwaNonqaba community hall for the residents of ward 2.
On Thursday 26 April residents of wards 6 and 8 will meet at the town hall at 18:00.
The week thereafter, on 26 April, meetings will follow at the Nativity Church Hall, the Asla Park Church hall, both at 18:00.
On Wednesday, 2 May residents of wards 2 and 3 are invited to meet at 18:00 at the African Gospel church hall, with the final meetings being conducted on Thursday, 3 May, both at 19:00, respectively at the Greenhaven community hall and the Little Brak Community hall.
