Grandpa applies for bail following rape charges

A 63-year-old man will know today if he gets bail after he has been accused of raping his 13-year-old granddaughter. The suspect will appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrates court following his bail application yesterday.

MOSSEL BAY NEWS- A 63-year-old man will know today if he gets bail after he has been accused of raping his 13-year-old granddaughter.

The suspect will appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrates court following his bail application yesterday.

He has been in custody since his arrest on the 26rd of November.

It is alleged that the suspect raped his 13-year-old granddaughter on three occasions at his house in Mossel Bay.

He is facing charges of rape and sexual assault.
