MOSSELBAAI NUUS - Scholtz Street, KwaNonqaba earlier today was quiet as mourners silently gathered to pay their last respects to 26-year-old Naledi Phandingawo, who was murdered on Saturday, 6 June.
Due to the national Covid-19 lockdown regulations, only a handful of people were able to accompany their beloved Naledi, a former Miss KwaNonqaba, entrepreneur and mother of three small children to her gravesite.
A 34-year-old suspect, Mlondi Ntlangulela, father of two of Phadingawo’s children, aged 2 and 4 is in custody in connection with her murder after he gave himself up to the police.
He will appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate’s Court tomorrow, 17 June for a formal bail application.
Only a handful of people were able to accompany their beloved Naledi, to her gravesite.
