MOSSEL BAY NEWS & VIDEO - The KwaNonqaba Police are investigating the murder of a mother of two who was allegedly stabbed to death last night by a man who is said to be her intimate partner.
The incident, according to the police, took place at approximately 20:00 at a home in Adriaans Avenue, KwaNonqaba.
According to the police, the woman (26) died of her wounds at a local hospital. The suspect (34) fled and is still at large. The incident caused an outcry on social media.
“Members of the community today, hosted prayer meetings in silent protest against this heinous crime, a possible result of domestic violence,” said KwaNonqaba Police spokesperson, Sgt Kappie Kapp.
A peaceful gathering was held today in reaction to the death of a 26-year-old woman.
