MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A healthy baby boy was delivered at home today with the help of members of the KwaNonqaba Police.
A convoy moving through Alsa Park during a lockdown patrol, led by station commander, Lieut-Col Azisa Mandongana, was stopped by members of the community, informing her that a woman went into labour in a home in Adriaans Avenue.
Warrant Officer Amanda Naude, a trained medical practitioner, had no other choice but to help deliver the healthy baby boy, named Ruben.
Emergency services staff, who arrived at the scene, confirmed that the baby is in excellent health.
