"In less than two minutes, the three men robbed the shop and left with an sizable amount of money," the owner of the OK Minimark, Mr Danie Benecke told the Mossel Bay Advertiser.
Three suspects entered the shop, one immediately pointed a firearm at a shopper who was at the till. He warned the shopkeeper to move away from the till. Two shoppers were told to lie on the floor while one of the robbers ransacked the safe.
The suspects fled in a silver Chev Spark with a CF registration number with an undisclosed amount of money. They also robbed one of the shoppers inside the store of cash, a cellular phone and the car keys.
