MOSSEL BAY NEWS & VIDEO - Members of the Da Gamaskop Community organized a drive-by Thursday, 14 January at 15:00 from Mikeva in Mosselstreet down past the Da Gamaskop Police Station in remembrance of the fallen police heroes during 2020 and 2021.
The nine members are Col Zolile Douse, Lt Col Ettienne Terblance, Lt Col Eric Julies, W/o Henry Roode, W/o Mornè vd Heyde, Sgt Cicil Delport, Sgt Pieter Willem Petersen, Cst Marvin vd Vendt and Cst Mziyanda Zuzani.
Some of the family and friends who did not have the opportunity to say goodbye during the Covid-19 lockdown left flowers or a stone with a message on.
No meeting or program was allowed except for silent prayers.
