MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A production by the Jonou Arts Foundation, Krismis met 'n Kinkel, is taking place at the Dias Museum on Wednesday, 21 December. It starts at 18:00.
The foundation was formed in 1996 by Noel Philander in Mossel Bay.
There is no charge to watch the production. It is free and will take place at the Dias Caravel in the museum.
It will be a modernised, family-orientated Christmas story, Philander says.
He says 20 awards will be handed out on behalf of the ATKV to leaders in the arts in Mossel Bay. Education and culture icon Claire du Plessis will be handing out the awards on behalf of the ATKV.
Philander says he is extremely concerned about broken families in society. Krismis met 'n Kinkel will spread the message of rebuilding and nurturing the family unit.
Some of the performers will include Justin Cupido, Michelle Groenewald, Francis Leibrand and Cindy Leibrand.
For more information on the production, call Philander (078 254 1870).
