The Protea Hotel Mossel Bay is the proud recipient of the coveted Trip Advisor 2013 Certificate of Excellence Award. This follows on a similar accolade in 2012, but this year, the award is made special as they again came out tops among international competitors, despite stiff competition.

The Mossel Bay community can indeed expect even more of the Protea Hotel Mossel Bay as they have this year added a new, fully fitted additional conference venue, which can accommodate up to a maximum of 60 people.
Equally proud are the team of the Cafe Gannet Restaurant with their 2013 TripAdvisor award.

TripAdvisor, the world's largest travel site, awards highly rated accommodation, restaurants and attractions with the annual Certificate of Excellence Award. The accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide.
To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travellers on TripAdvisor. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.
TripAdvisor is the world's largest travel site, enabling travellers to plan and have the perfect trip. TripAdvisor-branded sites make up the largest travel community in the world, with more than 50 million unique monthly visitors, and over 60 million reviews and opinions.
The site operates in 30 countries worldwide, including China.
