Curro Mossel Bay to have new Executive Head

BUSINESS NEWS - Curro Mossel Bay, a school managed by JSE-listed independent education provider, Curro Holdings, is proud to announce the appointment of Mr Brian O'Neil as its new Executive Head.

Mr O'Neil's role will take effect from 1 January 2021.

Mr O'Neil is delighted to be joining the Mossel Bay community and looks forward to lending solid leadership, guidance and support to the learners, staff and families at the school.

He has been a member of the Curro family since 2016, previously holding the position of Executive Head at Curro Rivonia in Johannesburg.

Alongside his credentials and considerable experience as a school leader in the independent education sector, Mr O'Neil is a true people's person and there is no mistaking his warmth and care for those who interact with him.

He has a passion to share knowledge, enrich the lives of his learners and colleagues and loves the fact that there is never a dull moment in his job.

Mr O'Neil qualified with a four-year Higher Diploma in Education at the North West University and completed his NQF8 Leadership Development course through the Wits Business School with distinction.

He enjoys camping, the outdoors and spending time with his family. His wife, Irma, is also an educator.

The couple have three children, Irne (14), Rouxle (11) and Ryan (6), who will be joining the Curro Mossel Bay family too. Driven by a passion for education, Curro Mossel Bay can look forward to positive growth under Mr O'Neil's leadership.
