BUSINESS NEWS - Holistic development - that is what Curro Mossel Bay aims to provide its learners from preschool to primary school, and right through to the end of their matric year.
This means a child will not be left wanting when it comes to academics, sport or culture.
To start with, the proof of both the school's and learners' commitment to excellence is in the results of the matric class of 2023. The school not only boasts a 100% IEB pass rate for the ninth consecutive year, but a 100% tertiary pass rate as well.
The school's use of technology in the classroom as well as its continued expansion of sport offerings, are worth noting when making a decision on where to send your child.
This offering has grown tremendously over the last three years.
The school's new artificial hockey turf is an exciting development.
Needs will be met
Parents can rest assured that their children's needs will be met. On the sporting front, for the young ones, the Blaze Buddies programme is aimed at team-specific sport, developing gross motor and sport-specific skills.
From a young age children are introduced to sports such as athletics, tennis, cricket, rugby, netball, hockey, cross-country, chess and golf.
The commitment to this development from the school's side continues throughout learners' school careers.
As far as sporting facilities go, a new artificial hockey turf is proof of this. And, not only does the school have a cricket pitch, rugby field and tennis and netball courts, but a golf driving range as well.
Curro Mossel Bay executive head, Brian O'Neil, mentions the school has had a number of Eden hockey and netball players as well as boys who went to trials for rugby.
O'Neil says Curro learners participate in all the school leagues as well. Within the Curro family, schools also compete against one another.
A gym has been installed, which will launch a functional fitness facility on campus. Added to all this, Curro hosts a Parkrun every Saturday.
Kultuur
So kry hulle elektroniese blootstelling.
Jaco de Jager (facilities), Esli Meyer (head of primary school), Leané Heyneke (head of preschool), Etienne Smit (head of high school), Michelle van der Westhuizen (marketing) and Brian O'Neil (executive head).
Speletjies (gaming) laboratorium
Vir meer inligting skakel me. Van der Westhuizen, by 071 671 0123 of besoek die Curro webtuiste by www.curro.co.za.
