ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - The Mossel Bay Arts Society is extremely proud to bring fine music lovers a breathtaking concert - Violin Dialogues.
Internationally renowned violin maestros, Zanta Hofmeyr and Miro Chakaryan, are bringing their award-winning programme of virtuoso duos for two violins to Mossel Bay.
With pianist Olive Sandilands, they have had several successful performances around the country.
In January, shortly after winning the award for best classical music production at the 2018 Aardklop festival, they walked off with the Fiësta award for the best performance of classical music at arts festivals in South Africa during 2018.
Their programme comprises works by Leclair, Halvorsen, Mozcowski, Shostakovitch, Wieniawski and Sarasate.
The Mossel Bay Arts Society warmly invites fine music aficionados to this magical performance, which will take place at the Dias Museum on Thursday, 2 May.
The concert starts at 19:30. Doors open at 18:30. Tickets, at R110 for members of the Arts Society, R130 for non-members and R30 for learners and students - are available from the Espresso Spot (situated in the Dias Museum) from Mondays to Saturdays between 09:00 and 15:00.
