MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Three musicians team up for the next Mossel Bay Arts Society concert in August.
Distinguished classical musicians Zanta Hofmeyr and Miroslav Chakaryan will perform violin duos by José White Lafitte, Henryk Wieniawski, Pablo de Sarasate, Dmitri Shostakovich, Jean-Marie Leclair, Johan Halvorsen and Maurice Moszkowski.
Olive Sandilands will be on piano.
The Arts Society is truly fortunate to be able to host such an elegant event in town, which will appeal to fine music lovers.
Due to limited seating (45 per evening), two evenings have been arranged - Friday, 10 August and Saturday, 11 August.
Tickets are R130 for members of the Mossel Bay Arts Society and R150 for non-members. The events will take place at the pianist’s residence. Both concerts start at 19:30, with doors opening at 19:00.
Attendees are welcome to join us for a glass of glühwein before the concert.
