MOSSEL BAY ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - Mossel Bay rap artist Dané Prins, aka Onblusbaar, has received an invitation to perform in a competition in New York next year.
She performed at the International Arts Talent Showcase 2021 in Krugersdorp, where she made the second round and afterwards received a callback to compete in the next round in New York.
Unfortunately she is unable to go to New York in June next year, but nevertheless she is pleased to have been honoured with a callback.
The competition was held on 25 September at the Silver Star Casino in Krugersdorp and entrants were judged by international names in the entertainment industry including @Blaze Johnson Jr. and Nate Butler, Elsubie Verlinden (33 and Me Talent Agency), Joey Hunter (IMTA board member), Rhavynn Drummer (Tyler Perry Studios), J. Elaine Marcos (AMDA), Kamey Butler (Netflix).
Dané said: "It was such an amazing experience and I enjoyed everything so much. I performed a piece from my latest single, SOS, about violence against any person, encouraging people to speak up and speak out against violence."
