Showing what they’ve got, these performers made their mark during the championships, hosted from 6-14 April.
The following participants received both certificates and medals:
- Plettenberg Bay – for vocals - Claud Schmidt, Cindy-Lee Schmidt, Louisa Harker, Luyolu Mvimbi, Simon Kika.
- Hartenbos/Mossel Bay – for dancing - Anje Campbell, Mieke Oosthuizen, Klariska Broxham.
- Michelle Mountjoy from Hartenbos/Mossel Bay and Lize Muller from Plettenberg Bay received certificates for respectively dancing and singing.
- Vocalists Claud Schmidt, Cindy-Lee Schmidt, Louisa Harker, Luyolu Mvimbi and Simon Kika were chosen to as part of the South African team, representing the country and their communities at the World Championships of Performing Arts, hosted from 7-22 July.
