RUGBY NEWS - Springbok hero Malcolm Marx is more than likely to get a run this weekend for the Golden Lions in the Currie Cup showdown against the Toyota Free State Cheetahs, but how long he will be on the field will be the interesting question.
Marx is one of five Springboks that will be eligible to play for the Golden Lions in the final round of the domestic competition, but coach Swys de Bruin will reveal how he will use his Boks when he announces his team line-up on Thursday.
Courtnal Skosan, Andries Coetzee, Ruan Dreyer and Ross Cronje are the other eligible Boks that can play this weekend.
De Bruin needs to weigh up the continuity of his side and their hopes of securing a home semifinal in the game against the Cheetahs with the fact that the Bloemfontein side have decided to play a number of their Pro14 stars in the encounter in their bid to make the playoffs as well.
