MOSSEL BAY NEWS - On Saturday, 3 March, the team from the Mossel Bay Sport Shooting Association went to Bredasdorp to compete in the second Boland league match for 2018.

The team comprised Johan van Wyk (with his Glock 34 9mmP), Danette Stoop (CZ Tactical Sport .40), Niek Stoop (CZ Tactical Sport .40), D'Metri Griessel (CZ SP01 Shadow 9mmP), André Calitz (Glock 17 9mmP) and Annelie Augustyn (Glock 17 9mmP).
It was a level two International Practical Shooting Association competition consisting of eight stages of practical shooting.
The stages were well designed, with a fair bit of difficulty, tricky shots and much running involved.
The following awards were earned:
- Johan van Wyk - gold medal, B class standard division.
- Johan van Wyk - silver medal, overall standard division.
- Danette Stoop - silver medal, ladies' standard division.
- D'Metri Griessel - bronze medal, B class standard division.
