MOSSEL BAY SPORT NEWS - This past weekend, a social netball tournament was hosted in KwaNonqaba by Kwanonqaba social netball.

Community Sport Development and Recreation supplied T-shirts to the kids.

Three visiting teams participated at the newly marked netball grounds in Mayixhale Street. 

The tournament was held in three divisions.

In division A semi-finals the Fire Birds from Newrest triumph over the Jaguars from Plettenberg Bay 7-5. In the final game the KwaNonqaba Mayixhale team won 9-6 against the Bangalos from George. The third prize went to the Fire Birds from Newrest.

The semi-finals in division B the score was Jaguars 5 and the Angels from Knysna 2. In the final game the Bangalos from George won 6-2 against the Angels with the Jaguars in third place.

The semi-finals in division C the Outeniqua team from George won 6-4 against the Fire Birds. The overall winners in division C was Sunrise from George with Kwanokuthula from Plettenberg Bay second and Outeniqua third.
