The opponents really did perform well, and it was evident that both teams are ready to take on the battle and have their sights set on of walking away as the overall winners at the end of the season.
This year is a big challenge for the Garden Route team, as they are very determined to get back into the President League of SWD.
"The year 2013 was a stepping stone and great learning curve for the club, and we are striving to better on the well-learned lessons of last year. The club now also has new players joining this year, and also boasts a diverse cultural flow," says Jacques Saayman, spokesperson of the club.
According to Saayman, good defence and well-mannered rugby resulted in the team securing their recent victory.
The management of the club thank all the players for their commitment and hard work.
"We are all looking forward with great excitement to the rest of the competition. The Garden Route Club remain humble, as per their club slogan - Humble in Victory we are," concludes Saayman.
