Todd Walker (104 from 70 balls; 6x6, 8x4) hit a splendid century for NMU (213/4) in their 117-run victory against Sussex (96 all out). Envirino Swartz, 4/10 with the ball and an unbeaten 55* with the bat, was the hero for Union Stars (91/1) in their comprehensive nine-wicket victory against Riversdale (89/9).
Harlequins Forces (115/8) were too strong for Ramblers (54 all out), with a 61-run victory. Rhupino Plaatjies (3/6), Ndumiso Mvelase (3/8) and Clayton Marnewil (3/12) all bagged three wickets for Harlequins.
