Former Protea cricketer faces potential arrest

NATIONAL NEWS - Former Proteas cricketer Thami Tsolekile faces potential arrest for failing to turn up at court.

Tsolekile is accused of assaulting a 14-year-old boy outside a Pinelands school earlier this year.

He was scheduled to appear in the Goodwood Magistrates Court on Wednesday, but he was absent when his case was called.

The 35-year-old cricketer is accused of forcing the teenager into his car and slapping him because the boy swore at him and threw stones at his car.
