MOSSEL BAY NEWS - At a special Mossel Bay town council meeting today, 9 February, it was announced that Colin Puren will serve as the new municipal manager for the next five-year term.
The announcement was met with great joy by councillors and municipal senior management who offered their heartfelt congratulations to Puren outside the council chambers after the meeting was adjourned.
Puren boasts 26 years’ experience in local government, of which he served many years at the Mossel Bay Municipality.
He has been the acting municipal manager since the departure of Advocate Thys Gilliomee in 2021.
