NATIONAL NEWS - A body of a 16-year-old boy was found hanging from a tree at St Stithians College in Bryanston.
Colonel Andries Odendaal of the Randburg police said the boy’s body was found at 6.30am on 16 May. “It appears to have been a suicide and the paramedics declared him dead at the scene,” he said.
He added that the police and the school were working together and an investigation was currently underway.
Dr Tim Nuttal, the college rector said the boy was a pupil from another school and not from St Stithians College.
He is expected to reveal further details on the deceased and the incident soon.
