Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The public order policing unit had to intervene when a mob attacked a person who spoke with a municipal delegation who is trying to establish contact with the leaders of the protesters.
The police managed to retrieve the person after teargas was fired.
A small group of people have regrouped at the taxi rank. It is confirmed that the N2 in both directions remains open.
Louis Fourie Road is closed between the Dana Bay intersection and Casino Road intersection. When approaching the Dana Bay turn-off onto Flora Road, note that the traffic lights have been removed and regard this intersection as a three way stop until further notice.
