Pedro’s coffin was carried by members of uMkhonto we Sizwe, who captivated mourners as the sang making their way to church.

MOSSEL BAY NEWS & VIDEO - The provincial funeral of the late struggle icon and uMkhonto we Sizwe veteran, Nicklo Pedro is underway. The procession to the All Saint Church, where the service is taking place filed up Mossel Street. 

Pedro’s coffin was carried by members of uMkhonto we Sizwe, who captivated mourners as they sang making their way to church. Several dignitaries are attending the service today. 

Police members formed a guard of honour as loved ones and friends carried the coffin into the church.

Pedro will be buried in the last grave in the current Mossel Bay cemetery.
