Update
GREAT BRAK RIVER NEWS - With darkness approaching, the helicopter crew had to stand down and has since left the scene of the fire.
The WOF ground crews have arrived at the fire to work under instructions of the land owner.
In addition, the Mossel Bay Municipality's Fire and Disaster Management Services will maintain a skeleton crew on site to monitor the situation.
At this stage no dwellings are endangered.
