MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Toughest Firefighter Alive (TFA) and mini TFA are taking place at De Bakke Beach parking area, Mossel Bay, today.
They are the largest competitions of their kind in South Africa.

Emile Conrad from Garden Route District Municipality has won the TFA for six years in a row. He is competing again this year.
Senior firefighter
Conrad, a senior firefighter, achieved a remarkable feat at the World Firefighter Games held in Denmark from 7 to 14 September.
Competing in the 40-44 age category, Conrad secured a bronze medal, placing him 14th overall in the global ranking of the Toughest Firefighter Alive (TFA).
Third year
This is the third year Mossel Bay is hosting the national competition. The competitions end later today. The children's contest consists of fun activities, which teach the young ones about firefighting.
Mossel Bay has been rainy this week. Fortunately there was no rain today and the temperature was moderate. The competition comes to an end later today. It started on Thursday.
