MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Three fires took place in Mossel Bay during the afternoon of Thursday, 9 January.
The fires - one near the entrance into Dana Bay, the second next to Curro Independent School in Heiderand, and the third in Da Nova next to Louis Fourie Road - occurred at about the same time.
Mossel Bay Fire, Rescue and Disaster Management teams responded promptly to the scenes.
The fires in Heiderand and Da Nova were extinguished sooner than the fire in Dana Bay, which was still being attended to by Thursday evening, noted the Mossel Bay Municipality.

At this stage, it is unclear how the fires began.
