MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Municipal Council noted and supported the Garden Route Skills Mecca programme and delegated the municipal manager, Colin Puren, to negotiate, finalise and sign a memorandum of understanding with the district municipality on behalf of the council.
The Garden Route District Municipality established the Garden Route Skills Mecca Programme as a vehicle to foster collaboration and cooperation across all member municipalities to implement skills development projects and programmes, resulting in job creation opportunities.
This initiative intends to drive capacity-building processes among relevant stakeholders and to apply for skills development funding on behalf of the municipalities within the district.
