MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Western Cape Education Department says they hope that members of the South African National Civic Organisation (SANCO) who are planning a march to the Mossel Bay Municipality tomorrow, will allow learners and teachers to go to schools.
Spokesperson, Bronagh Hammond says: “Something that is happening with the municipality should not affect the teaching and learning of the schools and we hope that SANCO will respect this and value the time our learners need to have in order to fulfil the requirements of their curriculum.”
More than 600 SANCO supporters are expected to take part in the march that is, among other things, about electricity tariffs and the alleged lack of job opportunities in Mossel Bay.
