MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The body of a 47-year-old woman was found in her home in the JCC residential area this week.
Concerned family members forced open the door to the woman's house on Tuesday, 19 December and discovered her body.
According to the Da Gamaskop police, the woman's house was locked securely.
"The woman, Lungelwa Dangatye, was found with her hands tied behind her back.
"She had serious wounds to the head," confirmed Capt Wollie Fourie, the spokesperson at the Da Gamaskop Police Station.
The deceased was a school teacher.
There are no suspects at this stage and no arrests have been made in connection with the murder.
The investigating officer is Sgt Deothine Vaas at the Da Gamaskop detective branch (044 606 2200).
