MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay branch of the Garden Route SPCA held a successful picnic on Saturday, 2 June to raise funds.
Despite the windy, inclement weather, Mossel Bay animal lovers braved the conditions to support the organisation.

The children especially enjoyed the event, the SPCA's Michelle Bornman Durant said. Several of them signed up to be junior volunteers and they promised to spread the word at school so that their friends could also sign up.
"The SPCA animals were so spoilt. Every dog was taken out of its cage and taken for a walk and the cats were all petted."

The SPCA reiterated that it badly needs dog and cat food.
"Thank you so much to those residents who have responded so generously to our request for pet food already. You are really staatmakers," Bornman Durant said.
