MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Struggle icon, Nicklo Pedro will be laid to rest today. Pedro passed away on 8 May at his home in Curlew Street.
President Cyril Ramaphosa has granted Western Cape Premier Alan Winde's request for the funeral in Mossel Bay to be a Special Official Provincial Funeral Category 2.
Traffic officials will accompany mourners at approximately 10:45 from the Portao Dias Hotel to the All Saints Church, where the service will begin at approximately 11:30.
After the service, the procession leaves from the church to the Mossel Bay Cemetery. Several dignitaries will attend the funeral.
Residents should please take note that traffic on Louis Fourie Road may be affected for a short while due to the funeral.
