MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The National Sea Rescue Institute will be hosting its nation-wide Open Day on Saturday, 1 October, and the public are invited to visit any one of our rescue bases between 10:00 – 15:00.
Station 15, Mossel Bay would like to extend a warm invitation to the local community of Mossel Bay to visit its rescue base at the Mossel Bay Harbour in Bland Street.
Come and meet some of our station’s coxswains and volunteer crew. Get to know these extraordinary men and women and learn about what we do – because we couldn’t do what we do without you!
You’ll get the chance to take a tour of our rescue base and our rescue vessels and enjoy a boerewors roll with us.
The Open Day is open to everyone so round up your family and friends and come join us.
Our volunteers are passionate about saving lives on South African waters and our station is rich with history and stories which we can’t wait to share with you, Mossel Bay.
