MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The man accused of fatally shooting 22-year-old Onam Nqumasile on New Year's Day made a brief appearance in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on Wednesday 25 February.
Tshepo Malope (37) was arrested by the KwaNonqaba Police on Saturday 3 January, shortly after the incident took place.
According to KwaNonqaba Police Spokesperson, Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp, witnesses reportedly saw Malope and Nqumasile arguing, which then escalated when Malope allegedly pulled out a firearm and shot the victim.
Malope was granted bail of R5 000 during a previous court appearance.
His next date of appearance is scheduled for Wednesday 18 March.
