New Rest community marches over housing concerns
New Rest community members are peacefully marching to the Municipality over housing concerns.

MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND VIDEO - Members of the New Rest community are marching peacefully to the Mossel Bay Municipality. 

The march is over housing concerns.

Meanwhile, the Mossel Bay Municipality has warned motorists of traffic interruptions due to planned marches this week.

Municipal spokesperson, Nickey le Roux says today’s march will disperse at 12:00.

Tomorrow, members of the South African Municipal Workers' Union will march from Schoeman Street and on Thursday, up to 600 supporters of the South African National Civic Organisation will march from KwaNonqaba to hand over a petition to the mayor at the town hall.
