Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The bakkie believed to have been involved in a hit-and-run incident that left a pedestrian injured on Louis Fourie Road in Heiderand last night, 7 June, has been found.
The Mossel Bay police had been searching for the white Isuzu and its driver after a 32-year-old pedestrian was hit while crossing Louis Fourie near the traffic department at about 17:30.
The pedestrian was rushed to the hospital with injuries to his limbs.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies said the Mossel Bay detectives’ investigations led them to a residence in KwaNonqaba where the bakkie was found. However, the search for the driver is ongoing.
