MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND VIDEO - A response team from the Mossel Bay Municipality's Fire, Rescue and Disaster Management Services helped remove a great white shark which washed up on the beach at Hartenbos on Sunday, 21 August.
Members of the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment as well as other researchers were on the scene to investigate.

The carcass has been moved to the Dias Maritime Museum for dissection.
It is suspected that the shark may have died as a result of being attacked by an orca.
