MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A response team from the Mossel Bay Municipality’s Fire, Rescue and Disaster Management assisted earlier today, 21 August in Hartenbos where a great white shark washed up on the beach. 

Members of the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment as well as other researchers were on the scene to investigate. 

The carcass has been moved to the Dias Maritime Museum for dissection. It is suspected that the shark may have died as result of being attacked by an Orca.
