MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The greater Mossel Bay CPF’s Kaskar Race is returning to Marsh Street this August.
The CPFs of Mossel Bay, KwaNonqaba, Da Gamaskop and Great Brak River are in the advanced stages of planning for the race, and have added two new and exciting elements to this year’s much-anticipated event: the Kaskar Show Parade and the Pushcart Race.
The parade is set to take place at Harry Giddey Park from 18:00 until 22:00 on 28 August. The main event, which is the race, will take place in Marsh Street from 09:00 until 17:00 the following day.
The Pushcart Race will be held the same day as the main event, but in the parking area of the Mossel Bay Town Hall. There will also be market stalls inside Harry Giddey Park from 09:00 until 17:00 for spectators to peruse.
