MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A Burundian man received a hefty sentence for two charges of dealing in tik last month.
Sentence was handed down in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court by Magistrate Clifton Maseti. Ndikumane Hussein was sentenced to 12 years' imprisonment, wholly suspended for five years on condition that he is not convicted of contravening the Drugs and Drug Trafficking Act during the period of suspension.
Hussein was also given a fine of R9 000 or four years' imprisonment.
The investigation was led by Sgt JM Spangenberg of the Langeberg K9 Unit.
