MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The harbour played a key role in the development of Mossel Bay as a town.
In recognising this, the Mossel Bay Heritage Society will be hosting a retired naval officer as its guest speaker at its annual general meeting on Wednesday, 30 October.
Johan Viljoen will speak on the topic, "I didn’t know that: Naval Customs and Traditions".
Mossel Bay Heritage Society chairperson Carina Wiggill says: "Do not miss what promises to be an interesting and entertaining talk."
Town's House
The meeting takes place at 16:30 for 17:00 in the Town's House in Market Street, in the central business district of Mossel Bay.
"Friends of the Heritage Society and all those interested are welcome to attend," says Wiggill. Refreshments will be served.
