MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The bail application of a 25-year-old man from Mossel Bay who is accused of being in possession of child pornography will continue today.
The suspect was arrested on the 2nd of February and has been in custody in the George prison ever since.
More than 48 photos of child pornography have been found on one of the devices.
During his court appearance two weeks ago, the investigating officer in the case, Captain Franco Bestbier testified that he still needs to work through more than 1.2 million photos that were found on eight devices in the suspect's house in Mossel Bay.
The state will call Captain Shaun van der Heever from the police investigative Psychology Unit to testify in court today.
The state is opposing the bail application.
