MOSSEL BAY NEWS - September marks Heritage Month in South Africa.
The theme for this year's Heritage Month is "Reclaiming, restoring and celebrating our living heritage".
Heritage Month recognises aspects of South African culture which are both tangible and intangible: creative expression such as music and performances, our historical inheritance, language and the food we eat as well as the popular memory.
Mossel Bay Library will be celebrating Heritage Month on Monday, 23 September. The festivities will focus on the different South African cultures. Visit the library from 10:00 for a fun-filled day with people wearing their cultural attire, entertainment and good food. Everyone is welcome.
