MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Popular Stars restaurant in Da Nova, Mossel Bay, was robbed of cash by two armed men at 07:00 today.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Pieter Koekemoer said both robbers had a firearm and they wore neck gaiters as face masks.
Many people wear these round, tubular pieces of fabric as face masks currently.
The robbers forced staff into a room, but retained two women staffers with them, whom they ordered to open a safe at gunpoint.
The robbers fled on foot with the cash. No one was hurt in the robbery.
Police arrived on the scene in under five minutes.
